Corporal punishment should not be allowed to be in schools or have a choice to be used in school. A school using this form of punishment towards misbehaving students is damaging young student’s minds and that the color of a student’s race depicts how much they will be paddled. Corporal punishment could or could not improve order in schools or test scores. But is the abuse worth it? Using this sort of violence is only causing students to commit suicide and become humiliated in front of their peers.

In many states African American students are more likely to get spanked twice as much then other students. Even in schools populated with majority minorities Native Americans are likely to get paddled twice as much (Quaid). Schools that are likely to use physical violence to punish their students are abusing the children that are different races and that have special disabilities.
