Talent : Can Either Be Used as an Advantage or Wasted

Talent can either be used as an advantage or wasted. Talent that is taken advantage of can not only change a person’s life but can change the world. When one thinks of a revolutionist one thinks of doctors, lawyers, presidents, singers, fashion designers, etc. but anyone that has had a major impact on the world is considered a revolutionist.   A revolutionist is a person who advocates or takes part in a revolution, and a revolution is a sudden, complete or marked change in something. Frank Lloyd Wright is considered a revolutionist because of his major accomplishments toward architecture. Wright used natural materials to design different type buildings, and was recognized as the greatest American architect of all time.  
Frank Lloyd Wright was born in Richland Center, Wisconsin on June 8, 1867 to William Cary Wright and Anna Lloyd Jones. Wright attended Madison High School in Madison, Wisconsin but he did finish due to the fact that he spent his summer time on his Uncle James Lloyd Jones farm in Green Spring Wisconsin. While on the farm he began to gain an interest in becoming an architect. Wright soon began working for many companies gaining experience in the field of architecture. He worked for Allan Conover, Dean of the University of Wisconsin’s Engineering Department in 1885. In 1887 Wright studied 2 semesters of civil engineering and later moved to Chicago where he drafted the construction of his first building- The Lloyd Jones Family Chapel. Wright later worked for the firm of Adler and Sullivan under Louis Sullivan. Sullivan according to Wright had a large influence on his career. Sullivan worked by the motto, “Form follows Function” and Wright theory was, “Form and Function are one.” Wright’s theory helped him to become the successful architect that he became.
