Can The Real Shakespeare Stand Up?

Every so often, the people of the world are given a literary genius. They were so lucky several hundred years ago, when a man named William Shakespeare walked the earth. Ever since then though, rumors have spread about the authenticity of his work. In this essay you will see that Shakespeare did indeed exist, but in my own opinion, although Shakespeare did exist, he did not completely write all his own works.

There is undeniable proof that William Shakespeare did indeed exist. Francis Meres said in his book, “Palladis Tamia”, that William Shakespeare was the greatest writer to ever exist. William Shakespeare’s baptismal records and proof that his parents existed we’re held by his biographer Sam Schoenbaum. William Shakespeare attended a school by the name of the King’s New School. The school had the records of his attendance. On November 28th, 1582, a marriage license was signed by William Shakespeare and Anne Hathaway. This was a rushed wedding though, because Anne was pregnant with their first child Susannah. Even though the name recorded on the marriage license is Anne Whately, William Shakespeare’s name was still on the license.

There is no question as to whether or not the man William Shakespeare existed, I even believe he did write some of his works, but it is my view that Shakespeare did write some of his work, but there is very strong evidence that he did not write it all by himself. This is proved true in several ways. William Shakespeare not Shakespeare also lived in Stratford England. I believe Shakespeare might have worked with other authors to complete his books. His education was so limited, how could he possibly know all the details about court life? The argument over his signatures is also a point to mention. There are on record six different versions of his signature, now you might ask yourself what is so significant about having six different versions of...
