In the story “Romeo and Juliet”, written by the famous author William Shakespeare. The main character, Juliet, is faced with many problems, one being marriage. Juliet is a rebellious young girl of a high class family. When told she is going to marry Paris, A man chosen by her father, Juliet has other plans.
Juliet is a young and witty girl. She knows her way around her words and she uses that skill to change the meaning of what she says. She can say one thing and it will mean two things for two different people. “I will confess to you that I love him.” (1073) This skill can really be helpful when you are trying to hide that you are already married when you are planned to marry someone else.
Juliet is also a very smart and mature. She is hesitant when Romeo is throwing himself at her when they have just met. “It is too rash, too unadvised, too sudden. “   (1026) She is fully aware of what she is doing and gives Romeo time to think over what he is about to do. He wants to marry her right there on the spot. “Thy purpose marriage, send me word tomorrow.” (1027) Juliet wanted to make sure that he was completely sure of this decision even though they both felt completely in love, she was still aware of both of their positions.
Juliet is also very cautious for her age of fourteen; she is cautious with what she says and also is very aware about what is happening around her. When she is planning her wedding she makes sure o send the nurse out instead of herself sneaking out and having the chance of getting caught.   The nurse and Friar Lawrence end up planning everything and it all moves very smoothly and no one suspected anything. “There stays a husband to make you a wife.” (1040) The nurse even helped Romeo make it back to Juliet’s cambers for their honeymoon. One other example of her being cautious is her being so careful with her wordage around her mother father and Paris himself. “God pardon him! I do with all m y heart; and yet no man...
