L&T Finance Holdings presents ‘Finesse’ – A case study challenge
L&T Finance Holdings Ltd. is a financial holding company offering a diverse range of financial
products and services across the corporate, retail and infrastructure finance sectors, as well as
mutual fund products and investment management services, through its direct and indirect
wholly-owned subsidiaries.
Finesse will test your mastery of the basics of an NBFC’s business model, while also checking
your general business acumen. The case will challenge you to formulate a scalable, flexible and
financially feasible delivery structure for L&T Finance’s entry into rural Indian markets along with
its services to urban consumers.

Rules & Regulations
Event Details: The event will be held in 2 Phases
•

Phase 1 will invite solutions to the case study by the teams (2 members). Final date for submission is
23:59 hours, December 29, 2011

Based on the case study submission, 7 teams will be shortlisted for the final presentations

Phase 2: Selected teams will be invited to the campus finale – a presentation to the esteemed judging
panel from L&T Finance Holdings on January 21, 2012 at IIM Lucknow

Participation & Registration Guidelines
•

All post-graduate students from business schools across India are invited to participate

•

Participating teams must consist of a maximum of 2 from the same institute.

•

There is no limit on the number of teams registering from each institute

•

Teams are required to register for ‘Finesse’ at http://register.iimlmanfest.com

•

Registration for the event will be open till 23:59 hours, December 29, 2011

Phase I Submission
•

Teams are required to submit the deliverables mentioned in the case document titled “L&T Finance_Case
