      According to Scott Reed, "This one step - choosing a goal and sticking to it - changes everything". College is like a small reproduction of the school of life, and I strongly believe that getting an academic education is an important step for growing as an individual. It builds self-confidence and inner strength besides that once the student discovers his capacity to succeed, he can be more competitive in the job market. A college education is going to help me achieve what I most want out of life. It will expand my mind and my horizons, both personally and professionally. 

      Growing up I was a self-disciplined and self-reliant learner, but unfortunately not self motivated. I rarely asked my parents for help, but at the same time, consistently had high expectations of myself. After I finished my high school I simply gave up on the whole education process; started to work and thought that making money would get me where I wanted to be at the time. Got too busy with life and its many distractions happening around. Few years went by, and here I am, turning 35 years old and proudly going back to school.

      I chose to attend Ashworth College because of the strength of its online healthcare programs. This important step will teach me extensive life lessons, which are not necessarily found only in a curriculum. I always wanted to make a career in the medical industry, and the affordable tuition was the key for my final decision. The value of this education can be taken in all different kinds of aspects. With my bachelor of Healthcare Administration, I plan on concentrating on medical marketing and hospital logistics management.
