Allow Women to Join the Senior Management

In the present age, there are more women in senior positions of companies than ever before. However,   in the meantime, some people think that the high rank management positions are unsuitable for women. Personally, I disagree with the opinion for the following three reasons.

The fact has shown that women are fully capable of performing well in the high-level postions. One only needs to look at women such as Indra Nooyi (the CEO of PepsiCo) and Muriel Siebert (the founder and president of the New York Stock Exchange) to see how well women can perform in their organisations, often putting their male counterparts to shame. A new survey shows, on average 65 percent of the companies in the world have women in senior management positions.

Furthermore, from an enlightened standpoint, women should be given the equal right to join the senior management. Although gender inequality was highly controversial in the twentieth century, now twelve years into the new millennium, women can learn and teach, work and supervise, and vote and be voted for in most countries – just like men. Given this sweeping progress in gender equality, there is no reason to deny them the right to get to the top management position.

Finally, common sense and experience show that the high-level positions are suitable for women, who have inborn excellent communication skills, remarkable endurance, and good relationships with juniors.

In summary, I believe that an increasing number of women will vigorously participate in high-level management position. It is a progressive society if women are granted equal rights in this area.
