Sport Hunting

SPORT HUNTING: Killing for fun.

Throughout our history many customs and traditions are no longer practiced by the development of human morality. Slavery, executions, or the “holy” Inquisition have no place in our culture today. But even today, many people enjoy certain shows where death and suffering of animals are considered “popular culture” or “sport”.
Firstly, hunting “sport” is nothing ecologist, in contrast, is a serious deterioration in our environment causing extinction of species in our forests, precisely those species that would be, if they exist, natural predators of wild boars, rabbits, etc. hunted with the legal excuse of population control.
Secondly, hunting “sport” is an ecological threat to hundreds of native and migratory species, responsible for the extinction of animal species, as well as lead pollution (lead poisoning) of natural areas caused by the ammunition. Besides, hunting “sport” cannot be green when you use traps, nooses, nets and guns, legal or illegal, to bring down living creatures abandoned in some cases without finish off, or at best they are exhibited as dried trophies in walls housing and associations of these “sports-loving nature, population control defenders”.
Finally, hunting “sport” although legal, is a violation of the rights of animals, responsible not only for the deaths of thousands of wild individuals every year, but also of abuse of hundreds of greyhounds and other hunting dogs.
To sum up, and this is a personal opinion, hunting “sport” is besides, an ethical problem, which converts for some people, death in a leisure alternative, indifferent to the pain of others. And this leads to others, moral repugnance and embarrassed.
