Maoism Is a political theory derived from the teaching of the great Chinese political leader moa Zedong (1893-1976) that is why is it is also called Mao Zedong thought. Those who follow the teaching are called Maoists this is sometimes considered as anti-revisionist form of Marxism. It was developed during 1950s and 60s and was widely applied as the political and military guiding ideology of communist party of china .Maoism's political orientation emphasizes the "revolutionary struggle of the vast majority of people against the exploiting classes and their state structures", which Mao termed a "People's War". Usually involving peasants, its military strategies have involved guerrilla war tactic.
