Study Abroad

The idea of going overseas for university is an exciting prospect for many people. But while it offers some advantages, it is probaly better to stay at home because of the difficulties a student inevitably encounters living and studying a different culture. To what extend do you agree or disagree?





    Nowadays moving from this country to other countries is easier so more and more students want to go to university overseas. Some people may hold the idea that it is probaly better to study university at home, but from my point of view, students should study abroad because it will give them many benefits and a more bright future.





It is a common fact that students will inevitably encounter many difficulties when they live and study in a different culture. New environment sometimes makes foreign students feel lonely and homesick, which affects badly to their studies. They also face to many troubles with communication, social relations and even with the laws. One further difficulty is that they nearly have to do everything on their own, like cooking, cleaning, doing researchs, taking care of themselves, etc… without parent’s help.





People in favour of going overseas for university, myself included, argued that there is an array of advantages that study abroad can bring to students. Difficulties which are mentioned above will help students discover some good character traits such as independence, energeticalness, responsibleness and teach them how to stand on their own two feet. Study in another country, in addition, is the best and fastest way to learn a foreign language because students have many good chances of practising with native people. Moreover, students can learn about other culture, make new friends, develop tangible career benefits and have international experiences which are very helpful in their life.





For all of these above reasons, I believe that students should go overseas for university. And because of that,...
