Proactive Measures to Be Taken by a Bank for Prevention of Fraud

Minutes of meeting held with the Executive Body of the BRBNML Employees Union( Salboni) on 12.05.2007   at 9.30 hrs on the instance of   arrival of Smt Shyamala Gopinath, Dy. Governor, Reserve Bank of India to Salboni.

  On getting information of   arrival of Smt. Shyamala Gopinath, Deputy Governor, Reserve Bank of India to Salboni in the afternoon of 12.05.2007 for observing the operational and functional aspect of the currency press owned by RBI, an urgent meeting was called for with the recognized trade union and the following point was discussed.


  It was requested by management that since arrival of Dy. Governor may get delayed for few hours beyond the schedule time we may require to keep one line of machine operational maximum up to 18.15 hrs with 2.30hrs lunch break after following the relevant provisions of the Factories Act. The issue was discussed with the recognized trade union and they unanimously agreed to extend all possible cooperation in keeping the system operational for the extended hours as mentioned above, following the provisions of Factories Acts, to exhibit the plant in operational order. While appreciating the cooperation management has requested the union to extend all possible help in this regard.
