OBSERVATION:
Chili peppers because my dad has a chili pepper plant in the back yard and I decided to make them useful for something else than eating.
Questions:
  * Why different chilies are different colors?
  * Do chili pepper sizes affect harvest time?
  * Why are chili peppers spicy?
  * Do types of soil affect growth rate?
  * Does the color of the chili affect the growth?
  * Does warm water affect chili pepper growth?
  * Does tap water or fresh water affect growth
  * Do all chili peppers have seeds in them?
  * Are chili peppers fruits (because they have seeds)?
  * Why are chili peppers long and not round like bell peppers?
PROBLEM STATEMENT
Does tap water or fresh water affect chili pepper growth?
HYPOTHISIS
Yes I think fresh water will speed up chili pepper growth because it has more minerals and tap water has impurities like chlorine.

TESTING
CONTROL GROUP: plant, dirt, sun, time planted, co2 given
VARIABLE GROUP: type of water given
SUPPLIES
  * Dirt
  * mineral water
  * Tap water
  * Seeds
  * Pot

TEST PROCEDURE
I get pots all the same size. I get Hawaiian chili pepper seeds (all from same bag). I get the same type of soil put the same amount (volume) of soil in each pot. Plant the Hawaiian chili pepper seeds in each of the pots put all the pots in the sun kind of chose together so they get all the same amount of sun. One plant will get no water one will get tap water, one will get mineral water and one will get a mix of tap & mineral water (all plants except the one that doesn’t get water gets 1 cup of water a day). Then wait a month.    
DATA
The data I will collect is the result of how much the plant grows every day. Then how big the plants roots are and witch plant grows the pepper first before all others.
