People all around the world drink alcohol.   Rather they are in under age or not. In many countries they have a low age limit or no limit at all for drinking alcohol. In the United States the drinking law is set to the age twenty one. Many young Americans are caught drinking under the age every day. There are legal drugs, like aspirin which is a medicine, which they use to prevent or cure the disease. Also there are illegal drugs which are dangerous and often it will cause unpredictable effects.
20,000 people are dying each year because of the related alcohol car accident. It takes an hour to the body to use up the drinks. Kidney shuts down is it’s too much and the liver can stop functioning.   Drinking and driving is one of the top causes of death.
First time drinker and heavy drinker can go blackout after certain amount of drinks. The drinkers think it would make them feel happier which is not. Alcoholic may never know that he’s alcoholic.
Alcohol is the number one date rape drug. Feel more daring and have more encouragement after getting drunk. Drinking alcohol affects your inhibitions and makes you do things you wouldn’t if you were sober. Many girls get pregnant and drop out of school because they make the mistake of drinking too much and having unprotected sex.
Twelve percent of 15- to 17-year-olds reported having unprotected sex when drinking or using drugs. Also, 24 percent said that because of drinking or drugs they had “done more” sexually than they had intended. Sometimes girls don’t have a choice. Rape also happens when people drink too much. It only takes one night to mess up your life.
