America Needs its Doctors, Period 4

America needs to wake up and realize something of great importance! America needs its doctors now more than ever. There are more and more communities in the U.S. that are overcrowding with people and need more doctors. Over the years more and more people are crowded into hospitals that don’t have all the doctors that everyone needs in hospitals. To be clear we need more doctors that range in different specialties such as neurosurgeons or other specialties of great importance.
In the U.S. there is a shortage of caring physicians that are needed by almost everyone in the U.S. Doctors are scarce in America, which is very ironic because the U.S. has many medical schools. The problem seems to lie in the people. Some people think that becoming a doctor is way too hard and costs a lot of money to go to medical school. Here’s the thing, the population is growing. Now there are more and more people in the U.S. and not enough doctors. The doctors here are paid very well, depending on their specialty. A Neurosurgeon makes above $200,000 per year! That should be motivation enough for people to want to become one. Even a normal general physician makes above $175,000 per year. So why are medical doctors so scarce in the U.S.? The problem lies in the mentality of the people. Some think that it is impossible to become a high paid doctor.
Now, more than ever, doctors are needed. There are more cases of flu’s and disease than before. We need doctors to rely on in case we get sick, but what happens if there aren’t enough of them?   What will the people do? The ratio of doctors to patients is very uneven; more doctors are needed to help even up the ratio. Not only doctors but hospitals are needed for them to work at as well. Why is it that in Germany there are a lot of doctors? They get paid less but they have more. So does Japan. For every 100,000 people in the U.S, there are a little more than 200 doctors...
