The cement rotary kiln is one of the most important equipment in cement production line, which is mainly used for calcining cement clinker in wet type and dry type two ways. The cement rotary kiln is composed of cylinder, transmission device, kiln hood, kiln hood sealing and combustion device, etc. The cylinder is standing on the support device, which is a rotating component for the heating of rotary kiln made up by rolled qualitified steel; the ring gear in the middle of the cylinder helps the transmission device to rotate the cylinder at a required speed; due to the requirement of installation and maintenance, larger rotary kiln has auxiliary transmission device which drives the cylinder to rotate in a very slow speed; in order to prevent the entrance of cold air and the overflow of flue gas dust in cylinder, sealing devices are designed respectively at the feeding end and the discharging end of the kiln.

The cement rotary kiln has the features of sturdy structure, smooth operation, and high quality product and so on. The cement rotary kiln has a wide range of application. Apart from the calcination of cement clinker, the cement rotary kiln also can be used to calcine the clay, limestone and dry the slag. In the production of refractory material, the cement rotary kiln is used to calcine the raw material, which can make the products stable in dimensional, increasing in strength, and so on. In the aspect of environmental protection, using the cement rotary kiln to burn the hazardous waste and garbage not only can make the waste minimization harmless, but also can use the waste as the fuel, to save pulverized coal and realize the waste recycling.
