Critique of The Nine- Inside the Secret World of the Supreme Court

Jeffrey Toobin is the author of the book The Nine- Inside the Secret World of the Supreme Court. Toobin was born in New York City to Marlene Sanders and Jerome Toobin. Both of his parents had careers with major networks, CBS and ABC News (Jeffrey Toobin). Jeffrey Toobin attended Harvard College, and while he was a student he wrote for The Harvard Crimson (Jeffrey Toobin). Then, in 1982 he attended Harvard Law School, and he was the editor for the Harvard Law Review (Jeffrey Toobin). Also, during his student years at Harvard Law School, Toobin freelanced for The New Republic which is a magazine for politics and art (Jeffrey Toobin). After graduating, Toobin took many jobs and worked for many well known companies. One of the major companies he worked for include The New Yorker (Jeffrey Toobin). Under this company, Toobin served as a television legal analyst, and he interviewed many famous subjects, such as Martha Stewart, O.J. Simpson, and Michael Jackson (Jeffrey Toobin). Then, in 2002 Toobin wrote The Nine- Inside the Secret World of the Supreme which has received many awards. Since then, Toobin has continued to write and be a part of politics.
The Nine- Inside the Secret World of the Supreme Court   is a book written by Jeffrey Toobin. This book captures one of the most secret and interesting bodies of government, the Supreme Court. The riveting story line reveals the dynamic between the nine justices who decide the law of the land. Also, it details the history of critical cases that include issues of abortion, civil rights, and church-state relations. Toobin received much of his research for the book from exclusive interview with the justices along with examining many of the key point in the Court’s history. All in all, The Nine- Inside the Secret World of the Supreme Court allows the readers to get a real feel for the justices and their reasonings...
