INTRODUCTION


I did my internship in DAWN BREAD (PVT) LTD, Faisalabad, because DAWN BREAD is the one of the most popular and important bread industries of Pakistan. It operated on scientific basis and well qualified and experienced staff. The staff members are much co-operative. I joined DAWN BREAD on February 17, 2010 and completed my industrial training on May 12, 2010.


Introduction to the industry
Dawn bread is actually the part of Mehboob food industries (Pvt). And situated on the Jhang road, Faisalabad, near to Ayub Agricultural Research Institute Plant was installed in 1988. The equipments e.g. mixer, proffer and cutter are recent and all are imported from Holland. Workers work on 3 shifts each of eight hours. Conditions of hygiene and sanitation are the maximum.

FUNCTION OF DEPARTMENTS


1. GENERAL MANGER
      General Manager is responsible for all industry administration, operation, marketing etc.


2. PRODUCTION AND QUALITY CONTROL DEPARTMENT
      This department is responsible for maintaining the quality of product. This is also responsible for checking the raw material and preparation of dough.


3.   ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
      This department is responsible for maintaining the plant machinery, so that machines could perform regular work to give required production regularly.


4. MAINTENACE DEPARTMENT
      This department is responsible for keeping all the production equipment under the high degree of operating conditions and to ensure that no production time is lost due to machinery...
