An important aspect of an organization’s business focus and direction towards achieving high levels of competency and competitiveness would depend very much upon their human resource management practices to contribute effectively towards profitability, quality, and other goals in line with the mission and vision of the company. The physical setting and environment in which I would like to spend my working hours would be in an office with windows to see outside and let plenty of sunshine in and a nice view. There would be great lightning to help with my eyes as I would on my computer for hours. I would have all the necessary equipment i.e., topline computer, scanner, fax, IPhone,   IPad   and other equipment to do my job effectively. A top of the line training room with big screen t.v, dvds, and fast speed internet and laptop for the trainee. I would have a very nice desk and a very comfortable chair.
The environment would consist of a place where I can grow not only professional but intellectually. I would be working at a company where my own ideals are received as well as innovative ideas and knowledge acquired in the past. I would be working at a company where there is good communication and great teamwork among all workers (from top to the bottom). My job also would consist of me working independently with great productivity. My hours would be flexible. I would be able to work from home if needed.
Some of the responsibilities and activities that I would spend my time performing would consist of recruiting effective people to perform each job successfully. I would also train new employees so they can do their job correct and in a timely manner. I would also work on company’s policies that will help the company to grow with the ever changing of today technology world.
