Automotive Technology
Automotive Technology is one Career path that will always be needed in our world. There are a vast amount of different careers in the Automotive Technology Industry. There is automotive collision repair which would in aspect repair body damage and do maintenance related to automotive collision repair. There is also Automotive mechanical repairs which would in aspect repair the engine and mechanical parts on a veichle. The career that I am most interested in pursuing while I finish my college classes would be all of the different divisions. I would like to learn them all due to the fact that I want to eventually open my own automotive repair shop. The average salary of a automotive technician, in today’s economy is on average 35 to 56 dollars and hour or average yearly salary of around Thirty-five thousand to Forty thousand a year. Depending on which state you live in you could also put into effect if there is a automotive Union in your state which would increase your pay.
In today’s Economy status is everything if you have a certificate or degree in a certain area you are in business owners opinions more suited for the position. You can get a career in the Automotive Industry without any schooling but you are more likely to get the better pay and to be the one chosen for the position if you have got to school for that specific trade. Most High Schools, Trade Schools and Post-Secondary Schools offer Automotive Technology classes. Some of the best Known in the United States is Wyo-tech University and Other Major Schools Such as ITT Technical Institute.
