Corruption At Its Finest
“Corruption is like a ball of snow, once it’s set a rolling it must increase.” – Charles Caleb Colton. Once someone is corrupt and does one bad thing they will continue to do other bad things. It is like a continuous pattern and from then on they only know how to be bad. Colton’s quote is accurate because once someone is corrupt and does bad they just continue till it’s worse as evidence by abusers, economic downfall and Mr. and Mrs. Macbeths downfall.
People who physically abuse their loved ones tend to come from a parent who abused their spouse. Once they see that corruption they to do the same thing and it eventually increases. They think it is normal to physically abuse a loved one and it goes from generation to generation till the cycle is eventually stopped.
The economic downfall is very much like a snowball. Once the government gets in to so much debt, it eventually will affect the people. When the people are affected the country goes into depression. People who lose their jobs will need to file unemployment which will add to the debt. Businesses will then be hurting because people are cutting back and spending less. Once corruption starts in government everyone and everything will be hit.
Lady Macbeth is very corrupt. She first starts off with a letter from Macbeth telling her about the prophecy. When Macbeth comes back she tells him that he needs to kill Duncan. When Macbeth says he doesn’t know if he should kill Duncan she then says, “How tender ‘tis to love the babe that milks me. I would, while it was smiling in my face, Have plucked my nipple from his boneless gums And dashed the brains out, had I so sworn as you have done to this” (Shakespeare 345). Lady Macbeth says she would kill her own kid if is she had to and she’s basically calling Macbeth a coward.
Macbeth is very easy to manipulate and corrupt. The three witches first corrupted Macbeth when they told him about the prophecy. He then thought about killing King...
