After my introduce, I think that most of us may know some based konwledge about the belt conveyor amd the lineshaft roller conveyor. But have you heard of the chain conveyor?

As its name speaking, a chain conveyor is a type of conveyor system for moving material through production lines. Chain conveyors are primarily used to transport heavy unit loads, e.g. pallets, grid boxes, and industrial containers. Chain conveyors are used for moving products down an assembly line and/or around amanufacturing or warehousing facility.

Conveyor systems are commonly used in many industries, including theautomotive, agricultural, computer, electronic, food processing,[4]aerospace, pharmaceutical, chemical, bottling and canning, print finishing and packaging.

Chain conveyors utilize a powered continuous chain arrangement, carrying a series of single pendants. The chain arrangement is driven by a motor, and the material suspended on the pendants are conveyed.

There are a variety of options available for running conveying systems, including the hydraulic, mechanical and fully automated systems, which are equipped to fit individual needs.

In addition, in order to increase the service life of your conveyor system involves: choosing the right conveyor type, the right system design and paying attention to regular maintenance practices.

Many industry sectors use chain conveyor technology in their production lines. The automotive industry commonly use chain conveyor systems to convey car parts through paint plants. Chain conveyors also have widespread use in the white and brown goods, metal finishing and distribution industries.

These conveyors can be single or double chain strand in configuration. The load is positioned on the chains, the friction pulls the load forward. Chain conveyors are generally easy to install and have very minimun maintenance for users.
