                          Art Museum Report
During the time I visited the art museum and looked at those work of arts, the first thing that came into my mind was “What’s this?” and “What does it want to tell us?” Basically, this is the common reaction that everyone would make if they perceive something new or something caught their attention. Also, the artworks must have purpose, for example, the collection value or special meanings so they could be displayed in museum. Therefore, people were supposed to find those stories behind the artwork and understood the different meanings represented from the art while they visit the museum. For example, the art museum recently presents Yoga: The Art of Transformation, the world’s first exhibition about yoga’s visual history. The show explored yoga’s meanings and transformations over time. The show of Yoga illustrated its worldly power and helped people to comprehend the beauty of India art.

Personally, I think perception was shaped both by cultural forces and by nature.   Even though the situation differs from one to another, people’s perception should not simply influence by one reason. Not only the environment that the person live but also the attitudes the person hold could make great impacts on this person’s perception. Some children may be raised in a rich family but never waste a single penny because of the family’s education.

The works of art literally represent the reality. Nearly all of the artworks displayed in the museum aimed to demonstrate the culture of a specific time period. Some of the featured artwork just existed for a very limited time because the fashion change or technology development. Therefore, researcher could use the artwork to study the history or explore the culture. Art not just recorded the reality but included the reflation that people response to the reality. They contained people’s mood, feelings, attitude, life quality,...
