Biology Essay

A cell is like a city because of the many authorities that run the city and the important jobs they have to keep the city intact. I will compare the; nucleus, non/polar head/tail, Golgi Apparatus, Ribosome, Mitochondria, Lysosomes, Cytoplasm, Endoplasmic Reticulum.
   
    In a cell, the nucleus is like the city government because its like the control center. The city government is compared because they control everything that happens in the city such as; laws, courts, construction, and ect. The nucleus is like the brain of the cell.The nucleus is called the control center because-the cell which lac nucleus during abnormal cell division known to be dead cell. Also, the nucleus controls the food that is transported in and out of the cell.
 
  In a cell, the Non/Polar Head/Tail is like the courts because it can equal both sides of a court. Every court has its own 2 sides to a story and they argue till one wins and usually the polar interacts with water which is like going to jail and the non-polar escapes the water just like the winner escapes jail. You see, non polar and polar should both be equal at the end.

  In a cell, the Golgi Apparatus is like the post office, this is compared because in its definition, its compared to sacs stacked onto each other like mail. The Golgi is made of stacks of membrane bound bodies known as the cisternae. In plant cells, these stacks are usually found as individuals, called dictyosomes. The post office usually is separated by sacs and bags of mail, just like the Golgi apparatus.

    In a cell, the Ribosome is like the Industrial Par/Businesses because its used to construct and DNA in Amino Acids. Their job is to assemble amino acids into proteins under the direction of the cell's DNA. Its almost like constructing a building, but not as big.
