WORK WITH AN AMBITION

J.R.D. Tata once said, “Common people have an appetite for food; uncommon people have an appetite for service.” A person, who puts his heart and soul into the work, can do wonders. Today we stand at a juncture where one can’t survive without doing a piece of proper work. There are many examples of personalities who have worked tirelessly and now are successful and famous. One of them was late Dhirubhai Ambani, who worked his way from a petrol pump worker to become one of India’s biggest business magnates. Tendulkar has worked with passion on his game and has been the best cricket player for a long time. No matter how adverse the circumstances are, if one continues to work diligently without losing hope, then his duties take the form of worship.

When a person works selflessly he / she starts enjoying the work. A nation with a hardworking manpower will for sure prosper. Japan and China are good examples of this. One should work with an undoubting attitude without thinking about the results. If one works with dedication, the result will always be fruitful. Tagore urged people to come out of the temples and to join hands with path makers; tillers etc. to do some socially useful and productive work. Tagore said that God is not there in the dark corners of the temple but He is with those who do hard work. So he advised the devotees to find God by doing hard and honest work. Thus, he encouraged people to do noble deeds.
