A man without an aim is like a rudderless ship in a stormy sea and even having an aim but without a plan is no more than a wish. So to be a successful man in this competitive world one must have an aim, so do I. My aim, like every other common lower-class Pakistani boy, is to get quality education from any of the prestigious institute of Pakistan and be able to serve my country, my people and most importantly, be able to lead my life in an easy and best of ways which I believe is only possible if I would be able to achieve my aim. Most of the people are afraid to admit the last fact I stated but I believe that is the main reason why everyone wants to study. In a society like Pakistan, there are quite few who study just because they want to study or they like studying, most of the people studying are studying because they have to, or because it is what they need in order to survive in such a society. It is because those who want to study do not have much opportunity. But thanks to Allah, I have the opportunity and to some extent I want to study and I like it and that is what my Aim is. The aim of an individual should be noble and good to shape his career in the later part of life. But as I stated, having an aim is not enough. One have to chalk out a plan in order to achieve is aim. But even having a low aim is also a crime, like they say, “not failure but low aim is crime.” So, as having a high aim I chose LUMS for higher education. LUMS, as we all know, is one of the prestigious institutes of Pakistan, is where I want to get. Not because it has a name but because it’s my favorite. I believe that this institute will not only groom my academic life but my personality and character as well. I am preparing hard for the entrance test and had left the rest on Allah.
