Class of 2015

Dear Class Of 2018,

Congratulations on making it this far. You have put in a lot of effort to get where you are but don't stop now. You may have had a rough start but there's always time to pick it back up. My Freshman year was one of the hardest years of my life. I had to realize that the teachers are not going to hold your hand or tell you when the homework is due everyday. High school gets you prepared for the real life. I am going to share a story with you of how one class changed my perspective of high school.
Spanish always seemed to be the hardest class ever to me. I always thought it was the teacher until i saw other students get A’s in the class, then maybe I came to realize that it was me and I wasn't trying my hardest to do well in the class. I made one of the worst decisions of my life, i dropped out of the class to do it online. I thought it was going to be easy and i was going to pass but it was even harder because i got lazy thinking that I had a free period and ended up not doing any work. I wasn't even trying to do any work but long story short i ended up failing the class. I failed the class I didn't even know what to think all I knew was that I disappointed everybody especially myself. I really couldn't believe it. All I wished for is that I could have either did my work in the online class or either just stayed in the class. I will never forget that moment in my life I still wish I could take that back. During my Junior year i took the class again, I still didnt really like the teacher but i tried my best to understand the language and i worked really hard on passing the class. I did really good and I ended   up   passing the class, not only passing the class but getting A B. I'm telling you that it is not impossible to fail, it happened to me it can happen to anyone if you allow yourself to go down that path. My advice to you is stay focused and always put school first I promise you will feel better about yourself. When you get good grades...
