Where am I?   One could say rotting behind the gates of hell.   However, I prefer to see it as taking a vacation from where I used to reside…a low budget vacation.   I would not be here right now, if it were not for a group of insane people who made me do equally insane things.   People who instigated my actions, people who angered me and made my blood curl.   There is one man in particular; however, who deserves most of the credit for my being here.   His name is Beowulf.

I remember my last encounter with Beowulf as if it were just yesterday. I heard of him often; he was the one who was to challenge me in battle.   Him and his insipid little friends spent most of their worthless time at Hrothgar’s mead hall, dining.   They were so juvenile, so annoying, and so…happy!   This angered me.   What angered me more, was the fact that these loud, happy little idiots were eating my food.   Therefore, I decided to eat them.

I walked into Hrothgar’s hall where they were all passed out like a bunch of worthless ingrates.   I remembered thinking how hungry I was, and the amount of energy I was lacking due to my starvation.   As I entered, I spotted a nice, plump, juicy Dane.   I swallowed him in one gulp, and began to move onto my next victim.   As I was about to do so, Beowulf charged at me with all his (mostly fabricated) might, and ripped my arm off!   It killed, literally.   If only I had the chance to gain a little more energy, I would have torn him to pieces…
