GPIC wins top human resources award

china oil and gas manufacturers:Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC)recently received the Human Resource Excellence Certification, a standard whichassists managers improve the performance of their organisations throughdeveloping excellence in human resource management and development.
The certification was received by GPICpresident Dr Abdulrahman Jawahery who dedicated it the company’s board of directors in recognition for theirsupport towards developing human resources, reported the Gulf Daily News, oursister publication.
GPIC is the first organisation in Bahrain andthe GCC to get this prestigious certification.
The board of directors expressed happiness atthe achievement, which, it said, confirms their approach under the chairmanshipof Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa.
They said the chairman pays great attentionto the development of human resources, an important criterion for success andexcellence, adding that they would continue to give all attention to providingmore training for company cadres to ensure they continue to work with highefficiency and develop excellent professional safety and other standards toachieve set goals.
The board of directors appreciated the roleof Dr Jawahery and the executive management and said they were keen toimplement the strategies set by the board as well as working hard to achievethe highest professional standards.
In a statement, Dr Jawahery thanked thechairman and the board of directors for their support in helping the companyachieve excellence and said the award was a result of that support.
He expressed the hope that the achievement ispart of a string of successes witnessed by the company at all levels.
