If you could study a subject that you have never had the opportunity to study, what would you choose? Explain your choice, using specific reasons and details.

-----------------

Robert Kiyosaki says in his book “Rich Dad Poor Dad” that “The main reason people struggle financially is because they have spent years in school but learned nothing about money. The result is that people learn to work for money”.

Most universities teach subjects like Finance Management, Chartered Accountancy and Audits but none teach “Money” and “Wealth” or “Financial Literacy”. Hence I would like to study the subject of “Money”.

Everyone throughout the life keeps struggling to make money without having studied the subject money. As a result one ends up working for money and converse is never true. We never make our money work for us. This book tells about the most important lesson that is how to use our mind and time to create personal wealth. Free ourselves from the proverbial “rat race”. To learn to spot opportunities, create solutions and “mind our own business”.   Learn to make money work for us.

The necessity for learning financial literacy comes from the fact that there is no real job security these days. Even after years of hard work, poor and middle class do not have minimum funds for their children’s college education, or their own retirement. Hence it is pointless working for a corporation, the government, and the bank throughout the life. We should awaken our financial genius and gain financial independence and freedom!

The prevailing educational system trains people to be good employees, and not employers. This system does not provide basic financial skills rich people use to grow their wealth. Today it isn’t about how much money we make, it’s about how much we keep, and how many generations we can keep it.

In conclusion I would love to study Money and be a person with finance literacy.
