I’m a person who does not like to go out very often, and I did not have chance to go to a rock concert. So, the rock concert is a strange place for me. However, my friends did one. After asking my friends about the rock concert to get an idea for my journal assignment, I strongly say that rock concert is not a good idea for elderly people. First of all, getting to a rock concert can take a lot of time. You have at least thirty minutes drive to the rock concert down a congested highway, follow by the hassle of looking for a parking space. I’m a young people, but I really hate to drive around to find an empty parking lot, and off course, the elderly people do not like that. And then there is the lines. In order to buy the ticket, you have to wait in a long line. After hooking yourself   to the end of human chain, you   will worry about whether there will be enough tickets, and whether many people will sneak into the line ahead of you. After you got your ticket, you are confront with the problem of outdoor rock concert. There is no chair for you to sit. You have to stand at least three or four hours in any kind of weather cold, hot, or rain. How the elderly people could do that?   Also, the sound in there is too loudly. If you are not familiar with the loudly sound and that kind of music then you will get head each.   Moreover, the exiting fans act as if they were at home in there own living room. They take off their cloth, yelling, whistling and making what they consider to be hilarious noises. Adult people dances with different styles when enjoying their favorite songs. If   you stand close to them   then maybe they elbow you out off the way. With all the reasons above, I think that rock concert is not a right place for elderly people to enjoy.
