My cruise of Training
I have chosen to tell you about my travel on board of the Ship school.   I'm going to explain you why I have chosen this topic. First of all, the word “cruise” makes me remember about several activities such as studying, challenging or take risks whatever.
Let’s go.   When I was finishing my studies as Naval Engineer in the School Navy at Cartagena. All cadets must take the final training on board of the Gloria Ship. Therefore, I took the training travel on board the Ship School in the last semester of my studies. I did it, a turn around the South America, starting by Venezuela (Puerto La Cruz), Brazil (Fortaleza, Rio de Janeiro), Argentine (Buenos Aires and Ushuaia), Chile (Valparaiso, Punta Arenas, and Patagonics Island), Peru (Callao), Ecuador (Guayaquil) and finally Panama and return to Cartagena.
My partners and I were on board the Ship. The voyage started in Cartagena in 1987. While we were sailing, I received not only formation in Navigation but also in Mathematics, Meteorology, Sciences of direction and other matter about my carrier. It is like any semester inside the school navy on the earth, the only difference is on the sea.
The first day was terrible, I had never felt annoy in the head. The ship began moving and my head also, and you can imagine the result. A partner was very sick during 15 days after and the captain of the ship told to him, “If you do not recover, you won’t be graduate”. The captain had no sooner said than he recovered.

I have a lot of stories such as passion, risk, tension, transport, but we don’t have much time for to tell you.
Then we left to Rio de Janeiro, at this point we have sailed 500 nautical miles. We arrived at Rio de Janeiro on February 1987. People were celebrating the famous Rio Carnival. I had never seen a lot of folklore. In order to keep tabs on the culture, I saw to Samba School. It did a show on the street. The show was really great it has relayed full color and tradition of Brazil....
