  I- INTRODUCTION

Have you experienced the frustration of visiting a beautiful location, taking dozens, if not hundreds of shots so you can relive the beauty of the place every time you look at your photos? Let's face it, when we're away on vacation, what captures our eye? It’s the view. So when we look at a landscape, our eyes travel over it and selectively focus on the elements that we find appealing, that’s why we go to the destinations we choose or when driving through a beautiful landscape we stop at every scenic outlook to make photographs sure to capture the grandeur of what we see. Except when we get home and look at our photos, we find them flat and boring and all the elements that fascinated us at the time are there but not the feeling so what we only have is a record that we were there.
Landscape photography is not new. With so many beautiful things around us and with our camera on hand, it’s difficult to resist taking a picture. Many photographers are attracted to this type of photography. This is not surprising. If you are new to photography, you’d probably consider landscape photography so easy. People think that this type of photography does not have the same restrictions and limitations like other types of photography. Well, this is how people regard landscape photography. Ironically, experienced photographers would strongly disagree because to get a good landscape picture, you need two things, first a great set of cameras and second a sharp photographer’s eyes as without these two things, a scene would only look ordinary.
Photography is a type of art. With the skillful use of hands, photography can bring out the subject’s “personality” and create almost magical moments which might not ordinarily be achieved through other...
