Education and/or Training Required:
  * They must complete a formal training.
  * All states require EMT’s to be licensed. The requirements vary by which state you’re in.
Responsibilities & daily Activities:
  * They have to work both indoors and outdoors, in all types of weather.
  * Their work is physically strenuous & can be stressful, and including patients who’re suffering.
  * In the event of an emergency, an EMT is dispatched and is often the first Emergency vehicle to arrive of the scene. He must assess the situation to see what care is necessary to stabilize ad transport the patient. It’s the duty of the EMT to get a patient to a hospital a.s.a.p.
Salary Range:
  * They get paid approx. 30,360 dollars per year.
  * And they get paid approx. 14.60 dollars per hour.

Self-Reflection:
My level of interest is that I would want to do this, because I think it would be fun. I also think that I would prefer to do the driving because I don’t really have a weak stomach when it comes to blood. I would also like to help with getting people on the gurney. I think that the EMT’s have such a hard job but I would be thrilled to do some job shadowing.
