Dear Dr. Hawking
My name is DeAndre’ Jones and I am attending 71st high school in my science class I have to do a project on you I am doing the part where I have to write a letter to you. I’m going to start off by saying thank you for your contributions to science. Like your study on black holes and your law of black holes that states In the case of two objects with equal masses m and zero intrinsic angular momenta, this upper bound is (2-√2)m. This law was very important in understanding black holes. You accomplishing all of this stuff is amazing because you did all of this stuff while being affected by ALS a very rare and uncommon disease. This is why people recognize you as the smartest man alive at this time.
I have many questions about your theories and all the other stuff you come up with like where do you get this information from? Do you have to send satellites? Do you get information from people at the space station? That’s what I want to know. I know I have a lot of questions because I’m curious of where you get this information from and why you decided to study black holes and space. I also am so surprised how you didn’t quit in life after you got ALS because that is a huge change in life that you had to deal with plus college some people would have just stopped doing what they were doing. Thank you for your contribution to...
