There are a lot of facts about The Great Wall of China here are some of those facts. The Great Wall of China has different sizes and different sections of the wall and some sections attracts more visitors than other parts of The Wall. The Great Wall of China has a lot of interesting facts. The Great Wall was being built, added onto, and getting removed at different times   and had defenses when it was built.

    The Great Wall of China has different sizes and different sections of the wall and some sections attracts more visitors than other parts of The Wall. The walls are usually 25 feet high and 15-30 ft wide at the base and 9-12 ft at the top. The highest part of The Wall is 26 feet high. The widest section is 30 feet.The most popular section of The Wall is Beijing. The most visited part of The Wall is in Badaling it had over 63,000,000 visitors in 2001.

      The Great Wall of China has a lot of interesting facts here are just some of the facts I think are the most interesting. The Great Wall of China is also known as the longest cemetery in history, for example some of the people who died building The Wall were actually buried in The Wall. The Great Wall of China is the longest structure in history, it is 5,500 miles long, for example it is twice as long as the United States. Another interesting fact is over 800,000 people worked on The Wall. The Wall serves five purposes such as protection, control, immigration and emigration, and even a transportation   corridor. The Wall is over 2,000 years old. The Wall was guarded with over one million soldiers during the Ming Dynasty. The final thing I found interesting is that is was built with stones, bricks, tamped earth, wood, masonry, and other materials.
