1. List the predictors for project success that apply to your environment.
      To tell if a project will be a success a project manager must implore a numerous amount of predictors.   Many of which occur as precautions in the preliminary sections of the project itself.   The predictors that factor into my current project are as follows (Project Management, 2006, Pg. 354):
    • Select key team members with proven track records in their fields
    • Coordinate and maintain a good relationship with the client, parent, and team
    • Seek to enhance the public’s image of the project
    • Have key team members assist in decision-making and problem-solving
    • Develop realistic cost, schedule, and performance estimates and goals
    • Have backup strategies in anticipation of potential problems
    • Avoid overreliance on one type of control tool
    • Stress the importance of meeting cost, schedule, and performance goals
      All these predictors are important to the golf shoe design process, because they all include areas of the schedule, budget, and performance desires.   Although these predictors are encompassing the entirety of the project goals, they do focus on the main required items in considering the project a success.
