The Big Apple
We live in a very unique generation that will be remembered for years to come for all sorts of reasons. I believe that one of the most definitive zeitgeists of our time is Apple Inc.
No matter who you talk to, there is no doubt that they have heard of Apple Inc, whether it be for the iPod, the computers or the trendy new products like the iPad. Apple is an American multinational corporation. They design and manufacture their own personal computers, computer software and consumer electronics. Apple has a way of keeping up with the times and ahead of the competition. It is continuously releasing new products or upgraded models of already existing gadgets. Its products are not only desirable for the brand name or the reputation that comes with them though; Apple products are far superior to many of its competitors. According to surveys by J. D. Power, Apple has the highest brand and repurchasing loyalty of any computer manufacturer. This should not be at all surprising, considering how many people you know will never go back to a product that is not Apple once they are an Apple consumer.
Apple Inc provides top grade products that come equipped with some of the newest, trendiest features on the market. We live in a society that wants things new and improved, hip and different from the regular products. Apple recognizes this and appeals to our desires with cool features like portable size, fun colors, touch screens and very lightweight products. A very important feature of one of Apple’s most popular product, the iPod, is the ability to play it in many different places. Not only can you listen to it with headphones, but they are even manufacturing newer models of cars to come equipped with a jack to play the iPod while you drive. People drive everywhere these days which is why this is such an important capability.
