Scattered Dreams
(For the unemployed)

Hopes and dreams are like your wanna-be’s
Time will come and you’ll see what they see
Wearing your uniform means a huge success
To the whole world that’ll always be blessed.

All the hardships that seem to be rough
Work and work and hard work will pay off
Commands and requests and working on stuffs
Nothing is easy so you got to be tough.

It seems like you’re used to this kind of work
There’s no way you’ll even plan to shirk
You’re not that person who isn’t as dumb as a berk
You give everyone a friendly smirk.

Soon you’ll realize that this is just nothing
It’s like seeing yourself out of the boxing ring
And earn nothing from all the carolling
Oh, all the sadness, not the joy, you bring.

You feel now the boredom inside your heart
“Was I wrong all along from the start?”
The future that holds me is still far apart
My destiny and I will now depart

I now hold the misery inside of me
Oh, how I long to set myself free
Is everything in its way it’s meant to be?
The answer is found in perfect harmony.

The people stare at you as you go out
“That’s the girl I talked about,” he said without a doubt
I felt mad at myself that I wanna shout
All the things they have said that they know nothing about.

Now, I recall all the things I have done
Scary times, sad times and those moments so fun
We hopped and played and skipped and ran
But now all the miseries has just began

I just got to find the confidence to say
That I have to get up in some other way
For tomorrow, for sure, is just another day
I will shine again someday as bright as the sun’s ray.
