Recent purchase with the seller/vendor

I recently switch my auto and home insurance. Before that I was looking around for a good type insurance to buy with a reasonable price. By comparing with many insurance companies and got tired of looking and decide to switch to Costco insurance which is Ameriprise. I waited for a while already before making the decision my mom told me that many of her friends switches to Ameriprise because of the effective price and give out discount because it’s affiliated with Costco. All our insurance from the past would always changes there price and we never know reason why even if we ask they won’t give a clear explanation. My mom recently got in a car accident even when it’s not her fault they still decided to increase our auto price. Since I check the mail everyday I would always get letters from Ameriprise all the time encouraging us to call in to get a quote and will save a lot of money.
I decide to give them a call, the vendor start talking to me and ask for all my information. We start comparing price with our current insurance policy coverages. Everything went smoothly and in the end it was an easy process. I got a cheaper price than my last insurance and it seem reasonable and it’s the same coverage as my last insurance. There after I decide to change our insurance company. Couple days later I talk over with my mom and we were having second thoughts. For some reason I decide to call back and thought of canceling the policy because they gave us 30 days if we’re not satisfy. I told the vendor and he said it’s a really good price and will save me a lot of money plus because I’m an executive Costco membership I would get great extra benefits from it. They keep telling me to give their insurance company a chance. So I end up not canceling my auto insurance and decided after having a brief conversation with my mom to also switch our home insurance.
