The New York Post article also mentions the firebombing that had happened at Malcolm X’s home and stated that perhaps Malcolm was going to name out the men who did it. .(Chaffee 2012, p.141)

In the Life article, the writer discusses the tragic scene at the podium where Malcolm X was shot and killed. The writer organized the details of events revolving around the scuffle in the hall then to the two pistol men who got away in the confusion.
The writer from the Associated Press organized the news by first stating his ethnic background, his role, the time he was shot, where he was shot, and the types of gun use in the shooting. They also discussed the crime that was committed and the offender that were involved. (Chaffee p.142)
How does each writer interpret Malcolm X, his followers, the gunmen, and the significance of the assassination?
