First of all, I would like to thank Fred, our CEO, for his decision of promoting me as head of the marketing department. Secondly, I would have never had this opportunity if it wasn´t for George, who showed me the path for being successful in this company and how to work as a team.

It is an honor for me to be right here, knowing that my efforts in these two years have had positive results. I cannot deny that I’m really happy and glad for this promotion and the new opportunity that I have received.   I am sure that I will not disappoint this company or any of you because I promise to work even harder to make this company grow more every day.

It is not only a great responsibility to be head of the marketing department, but also a new challenge for me in order to show my abilities and knowledge that I have acquire since I started working here.

I remember that my father told me once that if you work really hard, someday you can achieve more than what you were expecting. Today his words make sense because I was not expecting this promotion; I was just centered in working as hard as possible and now I am able to realize that I was doing a good job.

Finally, I want to thank all of my friends and coworkers for sharing this great moment of my life. I have seen all of you working hard and I think that one day any of you can be right where I’m standing now.

To finish I would like to leave you with a quote from Colin Powell that says “There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure”
