Q: Imagine That You Have Received Some Land to Use as You Wish. How Would You Use This Land?

Q: Imagine that you have received some land to use as you wish. How would you use this land?

A: I would like to use some land to construct a large house with a huge yard because of two reasons.

The first reason is that many people can live together in my house if it is large enough. Now, my grandparents live apart from my family. However, they have gradually become older and older, and we, my family, worry about their safety. If there is a big earthquake or serious flood, they may not be able to sustain their lives. In case where one of them get sick or other disorders, we may get more nervous than we live together because we do not have enough information about them. If my house is so big that my grandparents and my family can live together, we do not have to pay attention to such an invisible hazard.

The other reason is that if I have a huge yard, my family and I can do any activities which I want. I will give two examples that I can and want to do in my big yard.

Firstly, I can do some sports in my yard, such as soccer or baseball. It is so good that I can exercise in my yard; this is due to the fact that I can stay healthy. Since I am a high school student, I am required to sit and study hard for a long time a day. Therefore, I do not have enough time to go out and look for the places where I can do sports. However, given that I am able to exercise very near my house, I may keep doing sports for my health.

Secondly, supposed that we have a huge yard, my parents may start gardening there because they like to do that. If they invite some people living around our place, they can communicate with local people. They may be capable of getting some sorts of vegetable or fruit so that we can eat harmless foods. This also contributes us to stay healthy in terms of what we eat in our everyday life.

In conclusion, a large house and huge yard enable my family to live together and do some activities in my yard. In this respect, I would like to...
