The world is getting modern. New sectors and industries are emerging. Also, due to the innovative minds of the people, new professions are emerging out. Whenever a child is born, parents develop a rough idea in their minds so as to what the child will be when he/she grows up. Though they may not know what is going to happen in the future, they would be as satisfied if the child becomes someone whose the parents had illuminated their thoughts upon. Though this may lead to the satisfaction of parents, is the child satisfied?
The satisfaction of the child gains much more priority than the satisfaction of parents because it is very important that one should have interest in the work he/she is doing. However, if you do the work which makes you feel happy, you are likely to give good outputs and would develop an attitude of improvising. Also, ones livelihood goes on smoothly. Whenever you improvise, the every bit of improvisation makes your skills better and finally the best in that particular field.
So, how do you decide your profession? In school ages, it is crucial to try out many fields (science, arts etc) and always take part in activities (obviously not at any crucial standard such as the 10th). The topic you are interested in may also be out of your school routine textbooks. Basically, in these initial stages, you must try to be ‘The Jack of all trades but the master of none’ though it may sound a bit rude. But once you have spotted a field, then your minds spotlight should not move from there at all. This might be any field.
The process of being a master starts from here. You become a master after practice and commitment and dedication towards your assignments. At this point of time, you gain respect as a master of a particular field. Along with this mastery you also are the jack of all trades.
