Job Experience

Over the years I’ve had many of job opportunities. Many of the jobs I wish I could forget and never have to think about. I started working when I was fifteen and have not stopped yet. I guess you could say I was a Jill of all trades!
I have worked in restaurants, bars, animal hospitals, and offices. My first job was in a restaurant working as a dishwasher. Looking back now I can honestly say I hated that job. It was not fun at all, but at the time being that young and having my own money was awesome.
My brother worked as a dishwasher with me which made it worse. We would fight and argue all of the time and get into trouble. My mom waitressed there also so my punishment came from her and my boss! Perhaps if my brother didn’t work there I may have enjoyed it a bit more.
Even though I disliked the job I have to say I was grateful for the job opportunity. At such a young age to have learned the importance of making your own money I won’t forget that. Even to this day I enjoy working to make my own money and to support myself. So in a way that job set me in my ways and helped me along the way.
