On the summer vacations of 2009, I did not have any plans, but I knew that I wanted to do something exciting. My friends had nothing planned as well, and we all got together that hot night of May 21, 2009 and we all started to give ideas on what we should plan for summer vacation. A lot of ideas have stuck out much such as a trip to Six Flags Great America, fly to New York, and adventure of Chicago’s finest food. At the end, we ended up doing all three, but about going to Six Flags and flying to New York, I was not happy because I have a fear of heights.
So after deliberating with my friends, we decided to take on going to Six Flags Great America first because they knew I had a fear of heights. On June 1, 2009 it was the day of conquering my fear of going to Six Flags Great America and I knew I was more nervous than Tom Fletcher giving his upcoming wedding speech. As my stomach started to have nauseated affects, I thought I can have an excuse to get out, but it did not work out. My friends pick me up at my house around 10 o’clock in the morning, but I was not ready. One of my friends came to my door and knock and I replied “I will be out in a second.”
“I know you are dragging on purpose, so hurry up,” said Patricia.
                          After I got out of my house, all my friends knew I was still nervous about going to Six Flags Great America. However, it did not stop them for going; and as time was passing we kept getting closer and closer to our destination. My fear of going to Six Flags was not there anymore. Until I saw the high roller coaster ride called American eagle then I started to get nervous again. My face started to drip sweat and my hands started to get red which was all signs of me getting nervous. We started to park and I wanted to show I was a man and I got out without showing any more fears. We got our tickets and went inside.
