Introduction: Is Sylvia the only person in the film who truly cares about Truman? - answer; It is believe that Sylvia may be one of the people who care the MOST for Truman, but she is not alone with those emotions. The Truman Show was directed by Peter Weir and written by Andrew Niccol (who was director and writer of Gattaca, 1997), these two worked together and put together this movie about reality TV show in its most extreme case.
In this essay it will discuss the reason for believing why Sylvia is one person who may care the most for Truman, but not the only person because there was also the audience of the movie, those who created a campaign for Truman, and also there was ‘we’ as an audience of the who movie itself.
