Everyone has a unique style in which they prefer to learn. My learning style is generally well balanced between kinesthetic, verbal, and interpersonal. The results of my test did not surprise me. I realize that I comprehend better when things are hands-on approach, and there’s a reliance of written, spoken and social interaction. Kinesthetic learners actively explore the physical world around them by touching and physically interacting. They may find it hard to sit still for long periods and feel a need for activity and exploration. They typically speak with their hands and use other body language to communicate. When they are learning a new skill, they would much prefer to be able to physical manipulate it rather then read about how it might work. Verbal learners find it very easy to express themselves, both in writing and verbally and enjoy reading. They typically have a very good vocabulary and enjoy writing. They also love to tell stories and they are good at memorizing and using new phrases that they just learned. Interpersonal learners friends often ask them for advice because they are understanding and in tune with the people around them and their motives, emotions, perspectives, and moods. My unique styles of learning each help improve my learning abilities.

Time management, procrastination, concentration and memory are different skills that need much improvement for my learning abilities.   I devote sufficient study time to each of my
courses, but can improve. Avoiding activities which tend to interfere with my planned schedule, can definitely be an issue. I believe evaluating my schedule, how I spend my time, considering my goals and priorities will improve every ability. Realizing what is most important in my life right now and recognizing the obligations. Also, setting limits around being interrupted or rescheduling my work time to accommodate others. Giving full concentration to my college studies without feeling guilty about what I’m not...
