Role Model

What’s a good role model? A good role model is someone that makes good decisions in there life that everybody could look up to. Even you can be a good role model, by helping specific cooperation. Or if that to big then work with your community or you can just be a good role model in school for the younger classmen. So my three role models are, Oprah Winfrey, Pierre garcon, and barrack Obama.

  The reason why I picked Oprah is because people look up to her. She helps people lives on a daily basis on her own TV show. Like peoples marriages aren’t doing to well or kids that’s getting abused from there parents. Oprah opened a school called the Leadership foundation academy. This was an all girl school. She also made a book about herself, how she got her life on track. At an estimate she had donated at a range of 300 to 400 million dollars since 2004.

The second I think is a good role model is Pierre Garcon. Pierre is a Pro-football player for the Indianapolis colts. He helped with the make a wish foundation, which is a non- profit organization that grants wishes for kids with life-threatening medical conditions. He also helped with the Haiti incident by missing practice going down there helping out because his parents were from Haiti. I know it’s not as big as Oprah but he helped somebody who was in need and also because he is a football player.

  The last and final role model is our 43rd president. Barrack Obama. He is what people look up to. He’s making big changes economy like signed for Children’s Health Insurance Program Reauthorization, providing healthcare to 11 million children. He increased the funding for urban HIV/Aids prevention and awareness for public safety. He has helped our troops come back home from the war in Iraq. But he is bound to do something amazing for the two years he has left.

  So those are three people I think that are good role models. All three of them are what people look up to. Like little kids saying “when I grow up I...
