When you first start investing, it can be both exhilarating but nerve-wracking at the same time. But there are people who come across as natural investors, perhaps they have a natural interest and ability to tackle the stock market. Mastering the markets calls upon a variety of attributes and characteristics; to be a good investor. What could be a better way than taking a brief look at the successful stock market investors, their career and investing style. 

Rakesh Jhunjhunwala

An Indian charted accountant by profession and an investor in stock market Jhunjhunwala has made tons of money from stock market. In 2007, Forbes rated him as India's 51st and the world's 1062 richest man with wealth of $1.1 billion. Tagged by the media as "India's Warren Buffett", Jhunjhunwala is an equity investor in India and manages his own portfolio as a partner in his asset management firm, Rare Enterprises. Currently residing in Malabar Hill Jhunjhunwla appears on various business channels on television to share his ideas and opinions on the Indian markets. He is well known among the investing circles. He considers Mr Radhakrishnan Damani as his guru (mentor) and best. Just like Warren Buffet, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala is the long term investor and invests in stocks for very long time horizon. Son of an income tax officer, he started dabbling in stocks while in Sydenham College and plunged into investing as a full time profession soon after completing his education. He started his career with in 1985 when the BSE Sensex was at 150. He made his first big profit of Rs 0.5 million in 1986 when he sold 5,000 shares of tata Tea at a price of [pic] 143.
