How do I submit my own essays?
You may submit your essay when you create your account. If you are a member already, you may visit the essay submission form.
How do I copy a paper to my computer so I can reference it offline?
Highlight all of the text by clicking the "Highlight Text" link above the essay.
Go to the "Edit" menu in your web browser and select "Copy."
Open your word processing software. (Microsoft Word)
Create a new document.
Go to the "Edit" menu in your word processing software and select "Paste."
How do you know how many pages are in an essay?
We take the total word count of an essay and then divide it by 250. This is because approximately 250 words fit on a double-spaced page.
I thought this site was free, why is it asking me to pay?
We have about 40,000 free essays on this site. You can, however, become a premium member and get access to 150,000 premium essays as well.
Why doesn't the essay I'm reading have a works cited page?
We do not control what users submit along with their uploaded essays. Some may leave out citations or bibliographies in their submissions.
What about plagiarism?
We do not encourage plagiarism and advise you to write your own original essays. This site is to be used as a research foundation or database to draw from for your own essays.
How do I remove my paper from the site?
You may remove your paper by contacting us and sending the link to your essay.
